The Minister of Housing and Construction discusses housing programs and resolving outstanding issues in the sector.

This morning, His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, held a preliminary meeting with several officials and affiliated entities to coordinate efforts and develop a comprehensive vision for activating housing programs and projects in the coming phase.

The meeting was attended by: the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mr. Abubakr Owaidat; the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank, Mr. Abubakr Misbah; the Director General of the Bank, Mr. Hussein Hammouda; the Head of the State Property Authority, Mr. Bashir Qanjiwa; and the Head of the Tripoli City Development Authority, Engineer Rajab Al-Dali.

The meeting discussed several strategic files related to regulating housing policies, resolving outstanding issues in the sector, and addressing the administrative and technical challenges hindering the completion of existing projects.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the need to accelerate coordination among the various entities and prioritize work to achieve the Ministry's objectives of serving citizens throughout the country.
