Minister of Housing Chairs an Expanded Meeting to Discuss Work Progress and Evaluate Performance for the First Half of the Year
The Minister of Housing and Construction, Eng. Essam Al-Tamuni, held an expanded periodic meeting that included the undersecretaries, department and office directors, and heads of the ministry’s offices in the regions, to discuss a number of vital files included in the ministry’s agenda.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the success of the coming phase depends fundamentally on adopting a spirit of teamwork and concerted efforts among all arms of the ministry. He stressed the importance of unifying work paths through constant and permanent coordination between the ministry’s offices in various regions and their affiliated entities to ensure progress in implementing approved plans according to specified timelines.

In the context of executive directives, the Minister directed the necessity of immediately resolving all field challenges by developing practical and urgent solutions to the obstacles facing ongoing projects. At the same time, he affirmed that the ministry will not hesitate to overcome difficulties for construction companies and executive agencies to ensure that no project is stopped or stalled.

The Minister also highlighted the importance of adhering to periodic evaluation and continuous monitoring of performance indicators included in the reports for the first half of the current year. He emphasized the necessity of continuing to closely monitor actual completion rates on the ground and ensuring that all available capabilities and resources are directed towards priority projects that affect the daily service of the Libyan citizen across the country.
