Minister of Housing and Construction Discusses Supporting Development and Reconstruction Projects with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya
The Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Jumaa Al-Tamuni, held a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Mr. Naji Issa, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Engineer Salem Al-Zadma.

This meeting comes within the framework of government efforts aimed at promoting sustainable development and developing the urban sector in a way that contributes to improving the level of services provided to citizens under the umbrella of the Life Return initiative. This is being achieved by providing the necessary funding and involving both the public and private sectors according to well-studied, firm steps and a clear vision presented by the Minister of Housing and Construction, which supports the path of sustainable development and contributes to addressing urban areas in decline.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the Minister's interest in following up on the needs of the southern region of Libya, the necessity of supporting its development and housing projects, and addressing the main challenges it faces to ensure fairness in the distribution of projects and services and to improve its infrastructure.

The Minister affirmed the importance of concerted efforts and everyone's contribution to advancing the housing sector in the country, and developing a clear mechanism for commercial banks subject to state authority to stimulate the economy and support urban development projects, in a way that achieves sustainable development through the establishment of smart cities and a modern administrative and economic capital.
