The Western Region Housing and Utilities Bureau explores ways to complete stalled service projects in Surman Municipality

Within the framework of the Ministry of Housing and Utilities efforts to overcome technical difficulties and accelerate the pace of development projects in municipalities the head of the ministry bureau for the Western Region engineer Nabil Muammar held a meeting at the headquarters of Surman Municipality The meeting included the municipal mayor engineer Hussein Abu Snenah in the presence of several heads of technical departments at the municipality and bureau engineers

The meeting reviewed the executive status of projects belonging to the ministry within the scope of Surman Municipality where the mayor emphasized the need for concerted efforts to finish projects that have reached their final stages especially those related to the water network sector which affect the daily lives of citizens

For his part the head of the Western Region bureau confirmed the top priority the ministry gives to these projects stressing that the visit comes in a direct practical context to identify the causes of stalling and develop root solutions for them

Following the meeting the delegation conducted a field visit to work sites to assess technical challenges on the ground and determine urgent executive mechanisms to address them The meeting concluded with an agreement to intensify technical follow up in full coordination with the mayor of Surman Municipality
