Minister of Housing and Construction discusses enhancing cooperation with a Chinese company specialized in housing and reconstruction

His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Construction Engineer Issam Jumaa Al Tamouni met today Wednesday at the Ministry headquarters with a delegation from the China Housing and Reconstruction Development Company to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and to explore opportunities for the company to contribute to the implementation of housing and development projects that the Ministry aims to execute during the coming period

During the meeting the Minister affirmed the Ministrys keenness to expand areas of cooperation with international companies with expertise and to benefit from successful experiences in the field of housing and reconstruction which contributes to supporting state efforts to implement quality projects that meet citizens needs and contribute to developing urban infrastructure in various regions

His Excellency also emphasized the importance of transferring expertise and modern technologies and strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors in a way that supports the implementation of projects according to the highest technical and engineering standards and achieves sustainable urban development goals

At the conclusion of the meeting it was agreed to hold an expanded meeting during the coming period dedicated to presenting a comprehensive presentation about the company its previous experience and its fields of work in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Investment and Savings Bank the General Manager of the Bank along with a number of Ministry advisors to discuss opportunities for cooperation and to deliberate on the necessary executive steps to move forward on this path
