The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Affected Areas participates in the first meeting of the committee to address the situation of those displaced from Airport Road
The Undersecretary for Affected Areas Affairs and member of the National Committee for Addressing the Situation of Displaced Persons Residing in Airport Road Buildings, Mr. Abdul-Mawla Azouma, participated in the committee's first meeting, held on Tuesday and chaired by the Minister of State for Displaced Persons and Human Rights, in accordance with Prime Minister's Resolution No. 222 of 2026.
The meeting discussed the current situation of the affected families from various legal, administrative, housing, and social perspectives, aiming to reach practical, fair, and sustainable solutions that uphold humanitarian considerations and reinforce the rule of law.
Committee members also discussed work priorities for the next phase and adopted a clear timeline for implementing tasks and submitting necessary reports. They emphasized the need for concerted efforts and enhanced coordination among all relevant institutions to ensure social stability and safeguard the rights of the families, thus serving the public interest.
