Minister of Housing Directs Reactivation of Libyan Building Code Committees to Ensure Quality in Construction Projects

Minister of Housing and Construction, Eng. Essam Al-Tamouni, held a meeting with the Libyan Building Code Committee and specialized technical teams to discuss ways to develop and activate the national building code in line with the needs of housing and infrastructure projects across all regions.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the technical and organizational importance of this project in improving implementation efficiency and enhancing structural safety standards in the housing sector. He announced the restructuring of the relevant committees and the provision of all necessary technical and logistical resources to enable them to fulfill their tasks.
The Minister also directed that efforts be intensified and work accelerated to complete all required technical procedures, ensuring the modernization of the national construction system as soon as possible.
