As part of His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni's participation in the FITA 2026 Conference held in the Republic of Tunisia, this participation yielded a number of practical outcomes that reinforce the Ministry's focus on developing the housing and infrastructure sector and supporting the development and reconstruction process.

His Excellency participated in working sessions with a number of officials and representatives of companies and institutions specializing in roads, infrastructure, wastewater treatment, urban planning, and technical studies related to urban and smart cities.

His Excellency also held extensive meetings, attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Libya to the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Mustafa Qaddara, the Commercial Attaché, Mr. Youssef Tantoush, Mr. Essam Ben Youssef, Vice President of the Tunisian-African Business Council, and Mr. Abdelmajid Al-Qatrouani from the Minister's office, with a number of Tunisian companies that possess practical experience in the Libyan market. During these meetings, opportunities for cooperation and expanding the scope of joint work in the coming phase were discussed.

These meetings emphasized the importance of transferring expertise, exchanging technical knowledge, and working to implement development projects according to best practices, thereby contributing to increased performance efficiency and higher quality in project execution. The Minister affirmed that the Ministry is committed to building strategic partnerships based on competence and expertise, supporting the state's development and reconstruction plans and contributing to the creation of genuine job opportunities across various sectors.

This participation comes within the framework of the Ministry's efforts to enhance its presence in international forums and to learn from successful experiences in service of the Sustainable Development Goals in Libya.
