The Minister of Housing and Construction receives members of the Al-Andalus Municipal Council and dignitaries and wise men of the Al-Riyadiya and Al-Falah areas and follows up on a number of service files.

The Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, along with his advisor, Mr. Al-Hadi Abu Al-Qasim, and the Secretary of the Minister's Office, Mr. Hussein Al-Lafi, received members of the Municipal Council of the Andalus District, as well as elders and wise men from the Al-Riyadiya and Al-Falah areas. Also present were Mr. Murad Muhammad Al-Zabti, Head of the Council of Elders and Wise Men for the Sports City and Al-Falah areas; Mr. Ali Bakira, a member of the Council; Mr. Ahmed Habab, a member of the Council of Elders; and Mr. Muhammad Kamour, a member of the Andalus District Municipal Council. The meeting was held to follow up on the status of projects within the municipality.

The meeting discussed several stalled projects, particularly the main road project adjacent to the Al-Riyadiya buildings. The main obstacles hindering implementation and ways to address them were reviewed.

The possibility of inventorying vacant land owned by the Libyan state and studying proposals for its utilization, in accordance with the general plan classification, was also discussed.

The Minister emphasized the importance of finding urgent solutions to address the condition of some private buildings that are at risk of collapse and the mechanisms for dealing with them in a way that ensures public safety. At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister affirmed the Ministry's continued commitment to following up on these matters in coordination with the relevant authorities and working to expedite the implementation of projects to meet citizens' needs and enhance the efficiency of services within the Andalus Municipality. He also met with dignitaries and elders from the Al-Riyadiya and Al-Falah districts and is monitoring a number of service-related issues.
