The Ministry's Office for Women's Support and Empowerment participated in the Libyan National Women's Day events.
The Ministry of Housing and Construction participated on Sunday in the events commemorating Libyan Women's National Day 2026, held at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Mr. Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, along with a number of officials and representatives from various state institutions, including women.

The Ministry's participation was through its Women's Support and Empowerment Office, represented by its Director, Ms. Haifa Daqdaq, and included a large number of female employees from various departments. This participation underscored the Ministry's commitment to supporting women and enhancing their presence in the housing and construction sector.

The event witnessed a remarkable female turnout, with over 800 participants from various sectors, distributed across 37 booths. These booths showcased the most prominent achievements of Libyan women and their role in supporting the development process.

Ms. Haifa Daqdaq emphasized that this participation reflects the Ministry's belief in the importance of women's empowerment and its commitment to supporting female talent and providing a stimulating work environment that strengthens their role in decision-making positions.
