The Minister of Housing discusses activating the ministry's role in implementing the African Union's Agenda 2063.

His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Engineer Essam Al-Tammouni, met with Mr. Mohamed Al-Fadil, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Monitoring the African Union's Agenda 2063, chaired by the Council of Ministers. The two sides discussed activating the Ministry's role in implementing the Agenda at the national level.

His Excellency the Minister emphasized the importance of appointing a specialized representative from the Ministry and approving the 2024-2033 Ten-Year Plan, which will enhance institutional coordination and the participation of the housing sector in preparing plans and reports and implementing development programs linked to the Sustainable Development Goals.
