The Minister of Housing affirms the protection of Tripoli's historical heritage and the strengthening of efforts to preserve it.

As part of the Ministry's follow-up with relevant agencies and bodies, His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, held a meeting with Ms. Nasreen Al-Shahawi, Director of the Tripoli branch of the Historic Cities Authority, and Mr. Wael Mohammed Al-Hasak, a researcher at the Historic Cities Management Authority, in the presence of the Ministry's advisors. The meeting aimed to emphasize the importance of coordination between the Historic Cities Authority and the Tripoli City Development Authority, each within its respective area of ​​expertise.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister affirmed the Ministry's commitment to supporting the Historic Cities Authority and providing the necessary resources to preserve historical buildings, ensuring their protection and the preservation of their cultural value without compromising the city's development plans and programs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister stressed the necessity of continued coordination and integration among the relevant authorities, working as a unified team to achieve a balance between preserving historical heritage and accelerating urban development in a way that meets citizens' aspirations and strengthens the cultural identity of Tripoli.
