The Minister of Housing is monitoring the implementation of the Tajoura projects and emphasizes accelerating completion and addressing challenges.
His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, chaired an expanded meeting attended by the Undersecretary for Planning Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Al-Sharif, several advisors and ministry officials, the Mayor of Tajoura, Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Turki, and members of the Municipal Council. The meeting was held to monitor the progress of projects in the municipalities.
The meeting focused on reviewing performance indicators related to housing projects and infrastructure facilities within the administrative boundaries of Tajoura Municipality. Detailed presentations were given on existing and planned projects, highlighting key operational challenges and implementation obstacles, and discussing practical solutions to address them. The aim is to improve efficiency and accelerate implementation rates.
The meeting also reviewed the actual completion rates of ongoing projects and analyzed approved implementation plans. Emphasis was placed on the need to prioritize stalled projects and work to reactivate them according to precise technical and financial procedures. This will ensure the resumption of work as soon as possible and achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister stressed the importance of adopting an integrated and sustainable development approach based on the rational use of financial resources. This approach ensures that the public treasury is not burdened with additional expenses and achieves a balance between development requirements and available resources. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister stressed the need to unify efforts among the various relevant parties and strengthen coordination and follow-up mechanisms to ensure that projects are implemented according to the approved timetables and contribute to supporting housing programs and developing infrastructure to meet the needs of citizens and improve the level of services.
