The Minister of Housing affirms his commitment to ensuring fairness for citizens during an extensive meeting with the Ain Zara Municipality.
In line with the state's commitment to supporting citizens and enhancing social stability, His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, held an expanded meeting with his office director, ministry advisors, the Mayor of Ain Zara, Mr. Ahmed Al-Taher Attia, members of the municipal council, several directors of relevant departments, and representatives of the municipality's residents.
The meeting addressed the issue of compensation for damages in Ain Zara. The status of completed and incomplete files was reviewed, with emphasis placed on the importance of expediting procedures to ensure fairness for affected citizens. In this context, His Excellency the Minister stressed the need for the municipality's compensation assessment committee to promptly inform citizens of the required documentation so that it can be submitted to the relevant authorities, primarily the South Tripoli and Jafara Plain Reconstruction Fund. This will contribute to accelerating compensation disbursements and achieving justice.
The meeting also addressed the follow-up on projects contracted by the ministry and its affiliated agencies within the municipality. His Excellency the Minister directed that the ministry be provided with all data related to these projects, particularly the Al-Jarh subdivision development project, given its importance in implementing infrastructure and improving water services in the area. For his part, the mayor of Ain Zara municipality affirmed the municipality’s commitment to continuously follow up on these files, praising the ministry’s support and cooperation. His Excellency the Minister also reiterated his commitment to standing by the municipality and strengthening coordination and direct communication with all relevant parties to ensure that projects are implemented according to priorities, meet citizens’ needs, and reflect the ministry’s approach of placing the citizen at the forefront of its concerns.
