The Ministry of Housing opens up avenues of cooperation with national companies to develop the urban sector.
In support of national capabilities and to enhance the role of the local sector in the construction and development process, the Minister of Housing and Construction emphasized the importance of empowering Libyan companies and giving them the opportunity to actively contribute to the implementation of urban development projects.
In this context, the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, accompanied by the Undersecretary for Affected Areas Affairs, Mr. Abdul-Mawla Azouma, and Advisor Fathi Fares, met with Al-Yaqeen Holding Company, a leading Libyan company in the field of construction and general contracting. The Minister welcomed the company's General Manager and his accompanying delegation, praising their efforts and their distinguished expertise and capabilities.
The meeting began with a presentation of a number of previous projects, along with proposals for several planned residential projects and complexes. The presentations demonstrated that these proposals meet all technical requirements and standards, are comprehensive in terms of infrastructure, and include various service facilities such as hospitals, schools, playgrounds, parking lots, parks, and commercial centers, thus ensuring a complete residential environment that meets the needs of citizens. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by these companies, stressing that national companies are a source of pride for the country due to their skilled personnel and expertise, and that they are capable of contributing to the completion of projects and the development of the urban landscape.
