The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Affected Areas participates in the opening of the Olive Exhibition 2026 in Al-Khums

On behalf of the Minister of Housing and Reconstruction, the Undersecretary for Affected Areas, Mr. Abdul-Mawla Azouma, participated in the opening of the Olive Exhibition 2026 in Al-Khums. The event was attended by the President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala; the Minister of Transportation; the Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi; the President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raid; the Chairman of the Libyan Export Development Authority, Mohamed Al-Hanqari; and a number of stakeholders in the agricultural and industrial sectors, along with a wide range of national companies.

The exhibition is organized by the Al-Khums Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, under the supervision of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Libya and the Libyan Export Development Authority. It aims to support national companies and promote local production, particularly in the cultivation and processing of olives and their derivatives, in order to develop the national economy.
