The Minister of Housing and Construction discusses enhancing the efficiency of public works companies.

Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tammouni, along with the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs and the Minister's advisors, met today, Monday, with the chairpersons and members of the boards of directors of the public works companies to follow up on the status of these companies and to identify the challenges they face.

The meeting addressed the companies' situations in terms of their organizational structure, owned assets, and ways to revitalize them and restore them to their former vital role. The meeting also discussed the issue of financial obligations, including identifying the companies' outstanding debts and liabilities, and working to correct their financial course to improve their operations and enhance their efficiency.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister commended the work and efforts of the boards of directors under the current circumstances. The attendees agreed on a clear work mechanism to address bottlenecks and begin taking practical steps to reactivate the companies and raise their operational efficiency, thus supporting the state's efforts in implementing development and reconstruction projects.
