The Minister of Housing and Construction participates in the opening of the first meeting of the Committee of Experts for the Implementation of the National Housing Policies Project
Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Engineer Essam Al-Tammouni, attended the preparatory meeting for the housing policy project this morning, Thursday, with the participation of the Director General of the National Council for Economic and Social Development, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Futaisi, and a number of representatives from relevant sectors. The meeting focused on mechanisms for establishing a comprehensive national strategy for the urban development sector.
The meeting addressed the strategic objectives of the project, which aims to formulate a unified national framework to address demographic imbalances and support social stability. It also seeks to develop practical solutions to confront the challenges of rapid urban expansion and internal displacement, while opening new avenues for attracting investments outside the general state budget.
