The Minister of Housing and Construction held a joint meeting with the heads of the National Urban Planning Authority and the Tripoli City Development Authority.

The Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, held an extensive meeting with the Head of the National Urban Planning Authority, Dr. Ahmed Al-Toumi, and the Head of the Tripoli City Development Authority, Engineer Rajab Al-Dali, to discuss the status of urban plans.

The Head of the Authority reported the commencement of updating the national and regional plans, including the establishment of modern cities, in addition to studying the current state of dilapidated buildings and exploring mechanisms for addressing them through development and reconstruction, in accordance with proposals previously prepared by the Tripoli City Development Authority, and in a manner that does not conflict with the city's architectural and historical character.

During the meeting, the Minister commended the significant work being carried out by the National Urban Planning Authority.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to prepare a comprehensive action plan aimed at updating current urban plans and establishing modern and advanced implementation mechanisms. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of holding regular meetings for coordination and continuous follow-up to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of these plans.
