The Minister of Housing and Construction directs that obstacles be removed to disbursing compensation to those affected by war damage.

As part of the Ministry of Housing and Construction's commitment to addressing the war damage compensation file, Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Issam Al-Tamouni, held a meeting with the Undersecretary for Affected Areas Affairs, Mr. Abdul-Mawla Azouma, and the Chairman and members of the Central Committee for War Damage Compensation.

The meeting focused on reviewing the most significant challenges and difficulties facing the committee's work and exploring ways to overcome them to ensure fair compensation for affected citizens and alleviate their suffering. Attendees also analyzed the reasons for the delay in closing this vital file and discussed possible practical solutions based on a vision that emphasizes enhancing administrative efficiency and streamlining procedures to expedite the process.

His Excellency the Minister stressed the importance of strengthening coordination with relevant authorities and urging them to take the necessary measures to facilitate fair compensation for those affected and remove any administrative obstacles they may encounter. At the conclusion of the meeting, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni stressed the need for concerted efforts and integrated roles between the committee and all relevant authorities, and the strengthening of cooperation channels to ensure the acceleration of compensation disbursement procedures and the effective response to the rights of affected citizens.
