The Minister of Housing and Construction discusses with the Information and Documentation Center mechanisms for developing institutional work and digital transformation.

The Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, held a meeting with officials from the Ministry's Information and Documentation Center to discuss ways to develop technological solutions that contribute to simplifying archiving procedures and improving the efficiency of administrative work. The meeting focused on the importance of introducing modern systems that facilitate data storage and ensure rapid access, thereby enhancing accuracy and the quality of services provided to citizens.

The meeting also addressed mechanisms for integrating government databases and unifying information systems across all entities affiliated with the Ministry. The Minister emphasized the necessity of sorting, classifying, and preserving the historical archives of the Tripoli Municipality, which represent the national archives of the state since the Ottoman era, given their strategic importance to national security and the preservation of the rights of both the state and its citizens.

The Minister stressed the importance of comprehensive digital transformation, reducing reliance on paper transactions, and expediting administrative procedures to achieve the highest levels of transparency and efficiency in institutional work. The meeting also reviewed the current state of the Ministry's and its affiliated institutions' technological infrastructure and its compatibility with the requirements of the National Information System, with the aim of standardizing procedures and improving data flow. At the conclusion of the meeting, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni stressed the need to accelerate the implementation of technical projects to build an integrated information system that supports decision-making and contributes to raising the level of institutional performance and housing services.
