The Minister of Housing and Construction is discussing a proposal to establish an electronic system for registering housing applicants.

As part of the implementation of the "Return to Life" plan launched by the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government regarding the National Housing Program, the Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Essam Al-Tamouni, held a meeting this morning, Wednesday, with the Minister of State for Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Ziad Al-Hajjaji, the Director General of the National Housing and Real Estate Development Program, Mr. Faisal Bin Dardaf, and the Director General of the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank, Mr. Al-Hussein Hamouda, to coordinate efforts to ensure the success of the National Housing Program.

The meeting discussed a proposal to develop an electronic system for registering citizens wishing to obtain housing, according to the approved distribution mechanisms. This system aims to meet citizens' needs and ensure social justice and urban stability.

The proposal includes launching a modern digital system that enables citizens to register easily and quickly, eliminating administrative complexities and the need for travel. This will be achieved through a simple user interface and clear steps, allowing for the direct uploading of required documents via mobile phone, along with instant notifications and technical support. The system is fundamentally based on transparency and data protection standards, aiming to save time and effort and ensure fairness for all.
