Meeting to follow up on the implementation updates of the Prime Minister's initiative for the National Housing and Real Estate Development Program

The Minister of Housing and Construction, Eng. Essam Al-Tamouni, and the Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Bin Ghalboun, followed up on the latest updates regarding the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity's initiative for the National Housing and Real Estate Development Program concerning the project of 10,680 housing units in the Tajoura area. The meeting was attended by the General Manager of the Program, Eng. Faisal Bin Dardaf; the General Manager of the Arab Union Contracting Company, Eng. Salem Abu Lifa; and the Director of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Ali Othman.

The meeting addressed ways to coordinate between the Ministry of Housing and Construction and the National Housing and Real Estate Development Program, and discussed coordination mechanisms to implement the necessary infrastructure for 2,512 housing units as a first phase to complete the execution of the housing units through the National Program, while determining priorities during the current phase.

The meeting also discussed financing and lending mechanisms to support housing projects and accelerate their implementation, alongside reviewing the project distribution plan.
